Does the outer pinstripe on the hood continue around the top of the hood vent or end /disappear into the vent at the corners on each side?

I have attached a pic of my original hood. Hard to tell from the pic but it appears the stripe may continue around the top of the vent?

The inner stripes appear to terminate/disappear at the vent.
