I didn't see any in the pictures they had. According to this list, it would be 367081. http://hurstolds.oldsgmail.com/69hovin.htm

I love a good detective story - particularly when it involves Oldsmobiles....

Yes, it is a fun one too where every car looks the same. I've lost track of how many of these I've looked at online and questioned myself if I have seen that car before. Should have kept a list. But I'm subscribed to Hemming's new listings and some other places I keep up with also. This may never be solved, but the odds are less without some effort. So I'm trying...

Have you ever posted this info to any facebook Oldsmobile groups?
Quite a few 69 HO owners in the groups. One of my friends has 6 or 7 of these cars,he might know something.

I have had the info on a few, but no bites yet. However, I do rank #1 in Google for 344879M363895 so eventually I may find out where the car went. Without the internet, it would be nearly impossible to even have any chance.

Would be nice to hear the trans gets reunited with the car.

Yes, it is out of my control now if that happens as I sold the car a while ago on eBay. However, I would still like to know if the Hurst Olds this transmission came from still exists. Someone mentioned having the police run a VIN check a while back, that's one route I haven't gone...if anyone here can do that or knows of someone who can, I'd certainly appreciate it.

The Original car has not surfaced up to this point so the Origianl H/O transmission, conveter and complete dual gate shifter will be put up for sale.
