'83 H/O brake booster finish

'83 H/O brake booster finish

Wondering what 'finish' is correct. Were they painted Black, Zinc plated, Cadmium plated, natural??

They came in both black and a goldish color I think is cadium, not sure... but it's the same color that came on 79's that I've seen.

Thank you. That explains a lot because I have seen unmolested cars with both Black and Cad boosters and wasn't sure if one was correct over the other.

Mine (#461) was cadmium.

My friend's '83 is Cad also and, even though it's not an H/O, my '86 442 was Black.
