I'm looking for original-appearing braided vacuum line for the cruise control in my '69. While most of the vacuum line under the hood is just simple rubber, most of the stuff between the cruise actuator and the control unit have braiding in it, looking much more like fuel line (except for the size). I haven't had any luck in tracking anything like this at this point...

1/4" fuel line has the right external appearance, except it is too fat, about .51" external O.D.. The original line is .41" external O.D.. The fittings are 1/4". I've seen listings for 7/32 vacuum line and they say they are for 1/4" fittings, but all I've seen are plain rubber versions. I've seen a listing for braided 3/16" fuel line with a .41" external O.D. (Goodyear), but I'm not sure about fitting the smaller I.D. over the bigger fittings...

Has anyone else run into this issue or happen to know a source for something like this?
