Intake manifold coating

Any opinions on coating intake manifolds? Want to keep the origanal manifold but would like to make it look and perform better.

What color did you go with? I had my exhuast manifolds done in the jet hot sterling. Though maybe the cast would look good for the intake.

I've heard graphite lubricant rubbed on the intake manifold or other cast iron exhaust parts will give it a durable coating that won't burn off. I've never tried it before but it seems to me it might be worth a shot.
