bumper re chrome

Good afternoon, restoring a 69 442 convertible. I am in Michigan. Looking for some input on who to send my bumpers to for re chroming. Both will require some metal finishing. I understand I may have to ship them out, but I don't want to do that blindly. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Look up Tri-city plating. They do nice work and have some of the best prices you will find. They did the front and rear bumpers on my Toronado and the rear bumper on my Vista. When I had them do my bumpers (2018-2020), they were 600-700 each. You will probably be looking closer to $1200 each now. Some places are charging as much as $2000-$2500 each or more these days. Depending on the car, you might also consider reproductions at around $500 each.

2nd Tri-City. Great work if looking for MCACN quality plating.

x3 for TriCity, but be aware that prices have gone up in the last few years. The back bumper for my 69 wagon cost me $1150 and it needed very little straightening.
