64 power steering conversion

Hey guys good afternoon, have a few projects at the moment going on my 64 soon as I button those up I will be looking to add power steering conversion to my stock manual steering set up. Looking to see if you guys can push me in the direction of some research to get that ball rolling. Any links to older threads or websites so I can educate myself a bit before going shopping. Also any suggestions on parts and pieces in the supplier world is also appreciated. Thanks in advance
Rob

Here's an old thread, but you might read through it and see what you think.

What is your goal, completely original or an upgrade?

I took mine from manual to PS over forty years ago, IIRC the pitman arm was different and I had to use the manual arm. Anyone know for sure?

Good luck!!!

I'm going to assume this is an F-85 or cutlass.
Yes, the OP will need a power steering pitman arm.
There were two designs of pitman arm used in 1964. And the difference was in the diameter of the relay rod ( center link ).
He may need to change both the pitman arm and the relay rod

The pitman arm is different because the shaft on the power box is larger than the one on the manual box. Be sure you get a pitman arm for an Olds. The Chevelles can vary.
