Rag joint

Does anyone know what rag joint to use on a 64 cutlass with tilt steering?
I'm converting from a non tilt to a tilt. I took 2 rag joints & made 1 that would work with the splines on the steering box & column shaft but it's about an inch to short. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Brad

I don't know the source for a new one, but I've got a 64 Cutlass with power steering and tilt column. I'll take some measurements and pictures of what's on it, maybe that will help.

Brad, I've looked at several 1964-65's both power and manual steering. The rag joint is the same except for the one with the tilt column. I was mistaken in the respect the car with it also has manual steering. But it looks to me like the lower column shaft is different. It has splines in it that go into a fitting that attaches to the rag joint. A while back there was some discussion about other GM makes using a column end like this one. So... how does the lower shaft on your column look? The first picture below is the tilt column, the second is a non-tilt column. The tilt is a project car I've not started to work on yet, I'll have to see if there's enough splines inside the fitting!

I just looked on ebay, here's a Buick column with the same fitting.

Rag joint

Thanks John
the first pic looks like what I need if the splines are correct. The second pic is what the none tilt column looked like. There is another 1 on eBay that looks just like it but it's 300 bucks and they say it fits a corvette I think would have to check again to be sure. Don't want to make a 300 dollar mistake.

This ones cheaper at $75, but you may want to look around to see what other models and years used them.
