Hi guys im trying 2 put my power top motor in the correct spot but I can't get the rubber ***** in the holes, is there a trick or a special way 2 do it?? I've had mine strapped down for over 10 years, thank u

 

Start with some sort of lubricant on the rubber ***** AND you may have to use a flat bladed screwdriver to gently push in around the perimeter of each rubber **** to force them down into the holes. That or use a punch to push down into each hole at the top of each **** (I'd try the screwdriver method first as too much pressure with the punch method might tear the *****)

 

I second the use of a lubricant on the pointy end, and also pushing a punch or allen wrench into the hold at the top.
