Convertible Frame Repair

I have a 71 Olds Cutlass Conv't. I need to know if a convertible frame can be repaired? Where the top intially connects to the frame, that portion is slightly eaten by rust. All advise is good advise. Thanks.

Unfortunately, that's not terribly descriptive. If you are talking about the header bow, which is the frontmost lateral crossmember in the top frame, the one that sits on top of the windshield frame, rust there is common. Reproduction header bows are available (Chevelle is the same as your Cutlass) and it is a bolt-on part.

If it is slight rust. You can patch it just like you would the body. If it is more than that, Joe has the answer above. I've see them for $400.
