Just did a valve job on my 48 257 flathead 8, and was wondering if anyone knows the exact factory settings for the valve lash? I'm thinking somewhere around .10 and .12 but would like to know the proper settings..thanks in advance..John

My engine builders software shows .008" Intake and .010" Exhaust. Hot setting. Their specs are usually right from factory manuals. I have an old Motors manual at the shop. If it is different I will post in the AM.
