Traction off

Ok I think this is an easy one for all the olds pros.
1995 regency elite traction off illuminates shortly after driving usually less than a mile. Goes out sometimes stays on most times. When the light is out the t/c button works as it should. Sounds like a wheel speed sensor from what I been reading but not 100% sure. There is something under. The hood labeled traction. I dont have a clue where to start any help?

I agree with Koda, especially if you drive on country Dirt roads.
Also sounds like either a bad wheel bearing, wheel bearing sensor . Traction control disables itself when it senses a problem with any wheel sensor.
Hope this helps

Thanks koda and 76, although those conditions dont apply to my 98 now I can't say what the previous owner was up too. I'm also guessing you mean more than just a normal wash to the wheels. I'm going to pull all four and give the inner wheel wells and components a good cleaning. Good starting point. Thanks
