Window Regulator Roller Question ???????
(1972 Cutlass)
I purchased some front window regulator rollers from OPGI to replace a broken one from an original regulator. It appears the old ones were riveted on, so obviously I would have to drill that old pin out. My question is, the new window regulator rollers as seen in the pictures below do not appear they will work. Unless somebody can tell me otherwise. I looked all over the place for replacement rollers for the front power windows and these are the only ones I came up with. Can somebody tell me if they think this will work. if I drill out this open and replace it with the new roller.

I bought a 3 pack of assorted rollers and was able to pop off the one you see in the picture and it snapped right on. However, I bought it from a vendor at a swap meet...

you have later model rollers, that where superceeded to be used as a service part on older cars...common for GM..then..the aftermarket made the wrong one..common..
theres room to use the white roller..it isnt as critical as you would think..use a nut and lock-tite it on..you need to make sure the roller is right in size and use it..ive done it a few times...works as original..just make sure you roll it up and down a couple times to check all the clearance before you put the door panel back on
wait til ya get it aparat and the spindle is too small for the hole on the reg
find a "help" section at a big auto part chain..they have them too..and they are closer t original
