I did some searching and there maybe a past thread on this but I could not find it. Who has done any carb recoloring and did you use Chromic Acid? How well did you do and what are the steps? Positive and negative points and so on.

Even though this is an old thread I want to warn anyone using chromic acid to do anything that if it gets on your skin it eats till it is neutralized by calcium (aka bone). Milk, Not water. Not sure if this process can color carbs but more importantly safety wise treat this chemical with respect. Excuse me while I step down off my soapbox.
