Hi, I have a set of convertible latches with part number 9706570 RH and 9706571 LH on them. I originally was told they fit the 68-72 olds cutlass but when I had my top redone the shop stated they were for another year. I would appreciate the help of the membership here as when I do a search using the part number I cannot find an answer as to what year or model they go to.

 

They sure look like the correct ones. I just had a quick look at mine and they look the same but I can't see the other side for part numbers...

 

Interesting - I can't find either of those numbers in either the 1972 or 1975 Parts Manuals.

I thought these looked like my convertible's latches too but when the shop went to install the new top they stated they did not fit. Thanks for the input so far.

 

They look like the ones for my 67 Cutlass.

My '68's are 9713072 (L) & 9713073 (R)

 

They also resemble the ones for a 66 full size....
