What Is This Part??

Just got my plated parts back on my 70 442 Auto w/AC. This little gem was in the black oxide stuff, but I can't remember what this thing is and what is it for. Thanks

Same here. I have no idea what that is. How big is it? It's hard to tell without anything for a reference in the picture.

Actually, it is a very small pizza cutter, a rare and desirable option.

Seriously, I've never seen anything like that in any Olds I've ever taken apart.

It is a little over an inch long. I wonder, like someone else opined, if it might be something that got mixed up with my stuff. I will keep it with the 3 or 4 other mystery parts I have collected during the resto to date.

Probably the guy who sent it in for plating the same time costpenn did. Which is why I'd contact the plater and tell him. He's probably got an irate customer missing them and would love to have them back.

I already called them. They said it might be part of their racking(?). I have to bring them my hot air stove and disc brake backing plates and will bring them that little piece to at least clear my conscience!!
