Thx, would that be with ac or not?
I have a friend looking for a water pump for a 1970 cutlass with 350 no ac, no HD cooling. Wondering if this is what he needs?

Don't believe that pump is factory correct for anything pre 1972. I think they started using the "4" pump on the early 70s? Try to google the number cast into housing for a more positive answer.

412265 is just the casting number. That same casting was used to build different P/N pumps for different applications, all were 6.1" pumps. It could have come with one bypass outlet or two. The two outlet pump P/N was 556283, with applications as follows:

1975-1982 260 with A/C
1980-1988 307 with A/C
1978-1985 350 diesel
1973-1980 350 with A/C
1977-1979 403 with A/C
1973-1976 455 with A/C

The water pump outlet nipple is 2" diameter on 1970-older water pumps and 1.75" on 1971 and newer water pumps, so the same pump can't have an application for 1970 and also for 1971-newer.
