W-35 wing bolts - painted?

W-35 wing bolts - painted?
I replaced the mounting bolts and studs on my wing since they were completely rusted, but after installing the wing I just see the bright, shiny bolts and nuts sticking through the trunk lid when I open it. Were these painted body color? Or were they left bare?
IMO they were left bare
