tune up specs

Does anyone know how I can obtain a manual for my 69 cutlass supreme? I bought a disk online that is a oldsmobile 1967 to 1975 gm parts manual which is nice but nothing on timing and so forth.... haynes doesnt have one either.... any suggestions?

The manual you want is the 1969 Oldsmobile chassis service manual.
Faxon's auto literature has them, original and reprints.

You can find them cheaper on evilbay, try posting in parts wanted here maybe.

I bought several Motor's auto repair manuals off ebay. They have all the tune up specs you'd need.

Timing on a 350/400 would be 8° BTDC @ 1100 RPM with the vacuum disconnected and plugged. Dwell is 30° +/- 2°. Spark plug gap should be .032 I believe.

What else do you need?
