The inverted flare fittings get no sealer of any type. The seal is the tube flare compressed against the cone in the fitting. If the threads ever get wet, the flare isn't sealing and no amount of sealer will fix that.

The few NPT threads in the fuel lines (ie, the short nipple that goes between the tee fitting and 90 deg fitting on the center carb) can use a good teflon tread sealer. You're better off using teflon paste rather than tape, as small slivers of the tape can get dislodged when tightening the threads and end up in the carb needle and seat or other small passages.
