Are there U-Tube monitors??

Apparently this video is being trashed over at ROP - and I can really understand why!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycjI2JGk0Lw

Never heard of "refacing your lifters" because "they were worn out" with a grinder no less!
I couldn't even watch the end, as ALL the info was wrong!!
Let alone all the DIY listings on the side!!
Check all the wrong info on this one!!

Wow! I love it!

It's a total comedic teardown.

A shining example of why you DON'T just look something up on the interwebs and do what they say.

And in a button down shirt, no less!

The man is a genius.

It's a Chebby engine! They do things like that all the time!

All the more reason to make sure your engine guy knows something besides Chebby.

Now that I have recently gotten into utube watching, I found that about 20% of the vids are just deceiving / misleading junk. Sometimes the comments give a clue whether or not you should even try to watch it.

Maybe I shouldn't be sympathetic toward that guy, but his comments just stressed me out. He's going to have some problems.

Here's another one I found a while back. A DIY ultrasonic cleaner... for $35 bucks! Sigh, I wish it were that easy.

To answer the question, there are monitors, but only for copy-written material and ****, not for accuracy.

Nobody will get hurt with the electric sander trick - the parts just won't get so clean.
They'll probably get cleaner than just soaking them, though.

Honestly, connecting an old, hand-busting sander that you dread using (you know - the one that makes you hands numb after five minutes...) to a tub of some sort might just make a good cleaner that is one step above just soaking, if you leave it to run for about an hour at a time.
