Spark plugs 350

Just bought a 70 cutlass with a 350 and it has Accell 137 does anyone know what comparison NGK plug part # is

Noticed 5 different NGK does anyone have preferences which one to use

From 1970 Cutlass engine specifications. I think it comes down to how much you want to spend/plug. AC Delco or Champion copper core works fine too.

Personally, I'd stick with AC even though very few of them are made in the states anymore. The other offshore ones often don't look right in terms of reach or insulator design, although they seem to work fine. If you want an AC, Olds factory spec is an R44S, although given the quality of today's gas you may want to go a range or two cooler if you're running factory compression. If you have a points distributor, gap them at 0.030, if you have HEI or other electronic you can go as wide as 0.060, although most people seem to use 0.045.


EDIT: Also, IIRC the R44S is obsolete now and getting very difficult to find, so you may want to start with an R43S and see how that works.
