Rear Wheel Bearing Part Number
1970 Cutlass rear axle/wheel bearing. Question is. What is the GM/OEM part number for this bearing/retainer? Does It carry A RW507** part number?? I know The Timken SET9 is the aftermarket number

The RW507C is the sealed bearing for the early (67-69) O-Type. The 1970 used an open bearing that is oiled by the diff lube. The part numbers I collected off my 1970 showed a Bower RU1578NNV for the axle bearing. Not sure if that was the factory bearing or a replacement from back in the day (been too many years for me to recall the details).

The Only info i find is the RW507 was the bearing carried across the GM board with just a suffix letter or letters to designate it's specific application up to 69. For example "CR" was as you stated (67-69) and "GR" was for the Vista (67-69) Etc. That number was used on other GM cars as well with different letter codes. Was not sure if it carried into 70 but i have not seen it as of yet. The Bower is an aftermarket supplier.
Need to find the OEM Part number.
