68 Cutlass, 99% rebuilt chassis, I had the axels out for some time while painting etc. Removed the diff cover and drained. Put the axels back in and a new cover on, spun the axels- smooth, no noise, no wiggle room. Sat this way for a month or two. Filled the diff yesterday, now when I spin the axel ( car is completely off the floor) I can hear the bearings turning inside.....thoughts and experiences anyone????
