Radiator top rubber spacer

Anyone seen one of these as thought the ends are what held the radiator in place?

Yep, I've saved several from 68-72 parts cars. They're a sealing gasket to help direct airflow through radiator, top & bottom. Held in place by weatherstrip adhesive or the like.

Go check out the Trimlok catalog for adhesive backed and U clip rubber gaskets. I’m using them lots of places.

To me, the rubber curtains Olds used in the front of the radiator are at least as important to cooling as the shrouds they used behind the radiator. Latter day rubber P or D or flap seals can do the job very, very well.

Front curtains forcing air through the radiator core, a shroud and good flex flan are the best combination for my big blocks one with, one without A/C

Cheers
Chris

Thanks guys, sounds as important as the rubber flaps on each side of the top of the upper radiator support that are solid as a rock too....

Found them on Fusick as didn't see on Trimlok

Another thing I noticed, is there suppose to be any front to back slack in the fan clutch on the shaft it rides on?
