Questions...turnsignals....fanblower

Hi!
I have two questions.
1. The interior fan for the heat/vent/ac is making a horrible noise when its on low medium or high. Sort of like a high pitch squeaking scratching noise. What needs to be replaced? For now I pulled the wire in the engine bay to the blower....but without heat im freezing!

2. My turn signal shaft/stick completely broke off. It there an easier way to wire a different switch to it so I can use my turn sigs or do I need to somehow reattach the stick?

Sounds like the fan motor bearings are dry or rusted. Motor prolly needs replacing.

I've gotten away with drilling a 1/8" hole in the nub if the blower motor, squirting some WD-40 or better lubricant in the hole, and sealing it with wax.
Works for a season or two!
If you've got easy access - it works, but if you've gotta pull things apart, spend the $40-50 and replace it!
Think they might be cheaper at your local auto parts store - they're still available!!

Only fix on the turn signal is replacement = try to find a Delco auto parts store - cheaper!

No - way too new.

Rockauto has them. FOUR SEASONS Part # 35587 for a whopping 22 bucks.
Treat yourself to a new one!
