Question on crank case ventilation

I have a 65 cutlass with a 330. 45.000 miles, Had the upper end redone.
It is blowing oil out of the oil fill tube not much but thats
what it did before I had it done. Pvc valves did not exist then
The CVS works with original parts is connected . Is there a way
to stop this or convert it to a PCV.
Thanks
Kevin

Install a later valve cover with a grommet for the PCV valve. Plumb the valve to manifold vacuum. Be sure the breather cap is vented. Done.

Where would it connect to the manifold?
The old CVS connects to the rear of the carb.
via a vacum line

Any source that taps directly into a manifold runner or the base of the carb. Typically this would be something like the power brake attachment. If your carb has a barb fitting that is manifold vacuum, that's fine.

'64 and '65 Cutlass had PCV valves!! PN 6420092 type 639 for V8...PN 6421971 for V6..you had me wondering there for a while, must have been a trick question.. Also the valve cover should hook into the air cleaner via a metal tube and a couple of gromets according to the parts book..

Need Air

The only hook up is from valve cover to air cleaner via a tube
with a A/C Delco part ( a little roundish piece with a flapper inside)
between the two, that part hooks to the rear base of carb.
No other holes in valve covers.
