Im trying to get my 72 Cultass Supreme ripping again...it was a 350 4bbl auto trans and now I have a 72 455 4bbl... and a clutch pedal set up out of a chevelle...olds manual trans flywheel/bellhousing...saginaw 4spd....and hurst super comp shifter....my questions are what is the best setup for the pilot bearing for the manual trans...do I have to cut off the tip of my trans(dont wanna do) or will something work that I dont know about?..I read that I can either use 350 mounts or 455 mounts...just dont mix them.....one other question does anyone have a rough idea how much horse a 455 4bbl rocket out of a 72 delta 88 would be? the car had single exhaust...thanks for any help

Use the block mounts off the 350 along with the frame buiscuits u have., Don't cut off the pilot of the trans. There's a way to drill the crank and also isn't there some kind of adapter pilot bushing I read about someone using.
