Oil Filter Housing Gasket

Im changing the oil filter housing gasket on my 455. I found a leak going down the oil filter so I took the housing off and am getting ready to change the gasket out. When I had the engine rebuilt the original gasket was metal but since I could not find a new metal one we replaced it with a fel-pro one. Since them I have found several of the metal ones,so I decided while I change my oil this time I would remove the housing and replace it with the correct gasket. My question is should I use any kind if sealer on one or both sides of the metal gasket or just use it dry.

The metal core gasket did not use sealer from the factory. You should be OK, but it wasn't necessary.
