Mystery distributor?

I visited Scott Winn earlier today getting some parts for Project Olds-Camino. While walking around his parts collection I found this Olds engine with a distributor I have never seen before.

Anybody know what this is? My first thought was late 70s/early 80 Seville with the primative fuel injection

I'd get the part # off the distributor and see what comes up

Correct. That's the Seville EFI distributor. The box is the RPM signal for the computer. Keep in mind that this was an analog computer, not digital.
