Lug nuts
They won't look pretty for long. Treat them gingerly, use aluminum sockets.
I use black powder coated lug nuts on most of my cars. The other issue is the coating on the contact surface causes the first few installs to be loose because the coating wears off. I tighten/loosen a few times to make sure it's got a good bite on the rim. Or you can put the new nut in a socket and spin it against some sand paper to clean off that surface.

Yes I too am concerned about the off and on wearing off the finish. When I get the new tires put on, this car will only be drove maybe a 1000 miles a yr, so the wheels won’t come back off for however long the tires will last, they’ll dry rot before I ever wear them out. I hadn’t considered them Getting loose due to the coating wearing off.
I was more interested in what other car guys thought about using color lug nuts, or had ever seen anyone do it. Thanks for the info

I'd take a hard pass on the gold, mostly for reasons stated earlier. Moreso, I like the Gorilla locking lug nut sets in lieu of standard non-locking ones. They come in chrome and black options if I recall - I use their full matched set of 20 chrome locks on my ragtop's Torq Thrusts and they've served me well for years thus far.
