Hello I'm new to the forum and I have a 1973 Olds 442, 455 four on the floor. I just got new grills for my 442 actually not new but you know what I'm saying new to me and was wondering if anyone has had any problems finding a lower grill tie? Do they actually exist? And more importantly if they don't has anyone come up with a solution to be able to secure the bottom part of the grill? Thanks for your help it's a great forum

I had one I sold a few years ago. If you haven't created a parts wanted post yet I'd encourage you to give that a try. The 1973-77 442's don't have a large following so the parts are a little harder to come by than the 64-72 stuff. But it's out there. You just need to connect with the people who have them. Also it helps if you post your location or the nearest big city to where you live. If you end up looking for large or heavy items its nice to find someone nearby who can help. John

 

Thanks John. I will do that. I'm finding out not only is it hard to find 73 -77 part it's even harder to find 73's!
