My '71 VC has the following date codes in the inner fender wells:

LHS



RHS



If I follow the clock date code decoding as described in the Sport Mirror article (http://www.buickperformanceclub.com/SportMirrors.htm) these would be June which corresponds to the cars build date of the 3rd week of June. But the "70" does not jive as my car is a '71. And the extra dots are confusing. In another article (https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?th...-guide.376664/) the writer mentions he rarely sees a "clean" clock on the mirror housings, often it has extra dots.

Maybe the "70" is a mould date?

Anyone have any info?
