Hybid Oldsmobile? Not what your thinking...more like Frankenstien
I have always loved the tail end of the 1967 Delta 88. With that fast back slope and those tail lights that curve into the quarters...soooo coool!!!
But the front end is not my cup of tea. No offense to any 67 owners out there, because their Olds is the most beautifully designed one to them, just as all of us have our favorites. Like mine is the 1965 88's (obviously)... the most beautifully designed one...![Wink](https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
So here's my thought/question... I want to buy a '67 2dr 88 and bolt on the front clip (frt fenders forward) of a 1966 88 (because it's close cosmeticly to a '65 but the frt fenders would follow the 67's lines better).
Do you think this will bolt up? I would need a FULL frt clip, fender wells, core support & may need to modify frt bumper brackets by combining one from each year, but I think this may be a simple bolt on, and line up with the doors...
Any thoughts?

Sounds plausible, at the worst you might have to do some minor fabrication but it should be a pretty straight forward swap
And i totally get where youre coming from here, i love the 67' B-bodies but the front end of the 88 just never seemed to have the same flavor as the Impala or Wildcat, its alright but just kinda..mehhh...
My friend and I both had this same idea in our heads with our upcoming A-body projects. Id like to have a 71/72 Cutlass with a 70 rear bumper or a 70 Cutlass with a 71/72 front clip. And he wanted a 70 Chevelle with a 71/72 rear bumper or a 71/72 Chevelle with a 70 front clip. Personally i also think itd be cool to take a 70' Buick Skylark and put a 70' Cutlass rear bumper on it and make a Sabre GT from Grand Theft Auto LOL
