68 Delta paint

Hey guys. I'm miles away from paint, but I was checking out under the hood of my new baby this morning, and found the "body by fisher" tag. A little research, and I learn that my paint color is called ocean turquoise.
So here's my question... Where do I get this paint 43 years later, and is it going to be laquer? As I understand it you can't get laquer anymore.
And, if it is laquer, are there types of paint or primer that won't be compatable? I'm planning on getting the whole car down to bare metal, but haven't decided if I'm up to really doing the job thorough to the point of door jambs, under the trunk lid, etc. Not changing the color. Not in a rush either. What do you guys recommend?

Sounds confusing... I'm wondering if my original paint is laquer.

If the data plate says anything about "Magic-Mirror" it was originally painted with acrylic lacquer. Modern shops are probably gonna try to talk you into spraying base/clear since it's probably 90% of what they spray now.

Any competent paint supplier should be able to find a modern paint formula for Ocean Turquoise.

Far as compatibility with the original finish, I don't know.

So, is there a problem with base/clear?

Lacquer is certainly not available where I live. My '68 4-4-2 was finished using PPG's urethane base coat, coded to the factor color of provincial white, with a clear coat finish. As stated before, any competent paint and body shop should be able to find the code for your color.
