Help with my 1965 Olds F85 1 barrel carb leaking

Hi Everyone, Any ideas on what I should do to fix the leaking carb on my 1965 Olds F85 deluxe? I changed the mechanical fuel pump after the car starting dying during 20 to 30 mile drives. It fixed that problem but now the 1 barrel carb is leaking out of the gaskets. This is a refurbished carb I bought from Rock Auto about 5 years ago and didn't start leaking until after I changed the fuel pump. It almost seems like the fuel pump is pumping too much gas to the carb? I replaced all the gaskets but it still leaks. I am not that mechanically inclined and really haven't had many problems with the car until now. Please let me know your thoughts. I am thinking of replacing the carb with a new one but wonder if there is a less expensive fix. Thanks.

What brand fuel pump did you install? Many people have had Carter pumps that have too high pressure. High fuel pressure could push the needle valve off the seat, overfill the float bowl, and cause fuel to overflow.

It was a trugrade from autozone. I'll replace it and see if that helps. Thanks!!

Check your fuel pressure on the existing pump.

Yes, check the fuel pressure before changing the pump.
