I dismantled a 1968 Delmont a couple years ago. I'll look to see if I have that piece. Welcome to the site! Typically its best to start a new thread rather than post on an old one. I'll move this for you.
John

I guess I need another cup of coffee this morning... I'm having trouble finding the move a post function!

That's a New Thread. A Post is contained w/in a Thread. Now, get off my lawn you kids. Yours truly.

The fact that the OP made not one but two new posts shows that he knows how to make a new post. The fact that he hijacked another thread, forcing his (new) posts to be moved to this new thread shows that when he said he forgot how to make a new post, he really meant that he didn't know how to make a new thread.

I know, I know, I know. Evidently (to me at least) no one saw my humor (which evidently was for naught). First he hijacked a thread, then John couldn't find the move a post function (although if I'm not mistaken John actually created or moved the entire "thread"), then the OP forgot hot to make a new post & you demonstrated how to create a New Thread. Who's on First?

I went through my parts from the 1968 Delmont and the cable had been cut. I'll look around to see if I have one from a different car but if someone else has one you should consider buying from them.
