Gauge/Tach/Clock Restoration:

I have to have the clock restored in my '71 442. It has the gauge package.

John Roscoe is listed in the OCA newsletter. Has anyone used him?

Does anyone have a better source?

Thank you

I don't know about John, but I have used D&M Restoration to repair two of my tic-toc-tacs and they did a wonderful job and what I thought was a very decent price. Their address is 57-B Creekside Park Court, Greenville, SC 29615, phone 800-722-0854 or 864-254-9989. Their web site is www.dandmrestoration.com. They do speedos, tachs, clocks, radios, gauges, and headlight and wiper motors. They advertise regularly in the NCRS Driveline but they are good for all cars.

So here we go. I sold the 67 vert and bought this 69 vert

. I would like to remove the clock for repair. My car does have A/C so does anyone know if it would be easier to pull the dash than try and get at the 1/4 inch screws that hold in the clock without pulling the dash??

I have repaired & restored many speedos, fuel gauges, tachometers & gauge clusters for our Oldsmobiles. I have done about 40 of the quartz conversions also. Feel free to call me with questions.

Rick,
I think it might be easier to pull some of the AC ductwork to get to that clock. There really is no easy or quick way on the '68-'69s.
