Hi,
I struggle to find the studs for the heads.
I'm looking for this ref :

184-4004 ARP

Any advise for a supplier name that could ship quickly and properly in Europe ?

Thanks.

Why do you think you need new studs? These are not torque-to-yield fasteners like the ones on new cars. You can reuse them indefinitely.

Like I said in post #30 : I think i have to remove the studs kit because some of them are very rusty.

You can use either 184-4004 or 184-4204. The 4204 just has 12 point nuts instead of the hex nuts in 4004. Have you tried contacting ARP directly?

Amazon claims to have them in stock. I don't know what they do for shipment to France. Too bad I'm just seeing this now. My wife just landed at CDG this morning. She could have carried a set over.

You would see how they look like on the picture attached in the post # 30. On the front end of the block on the picture.

Your wife is traveling in France right now ?
If you look for an AIRBNB sometime, my wife manage one 2 hours far from Paris :

We use to welcome guests comming from US.

Anyway, I'll try to check with Amazon...
You've seen the picture ? What to you think about the rusty surface of the studs ?

Appreciate the offer. We own a house in La Roque sur Ceze. Unfortunately my work (and Spring Carlisle) prevented me from going this spring. She's there with a friend this time. Hopefully I'll get there this fall. Ours is the house at the right in this photo.

It's hard to tell from the photo. There is some surface rust, but it isn't possible to see how deep the pits are. Obviously any pits are potential crack sites, but frankly, for a stock 403 these are overkill. You could certainly make due with stock head bolts instead of expensive studs if you wanted.
