Hi All again, I have gone thru a couple of these 1967 olds 442 Rochester Q jets 7027156 have a real odd question for the Q Jet guys out there, The base gasket on the left came with both the kits, According for what iam seeing on that one is for 1968-77 olds.. The one on the right they call out for the 1966 - 67 330-400-425 I Have the correct 66-67 intake 390390 on the car now, Question is what one to use ? And would the other one work anyway ? Thanks olds gang !! john.........................

I have always laid the gasket onto the bottom of the carb to see how it matches the base plate’s setup to determine if it looks like it would seal properly.

I went through this with the Qjet on my 67 Delta. I ended up getting the correct FelPro 60019 base gasket separately from RockAuto.
