Correct factory air cleaner housing colors

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the correct colors for the factory air cleaner housings. The air cleaner that came with my 64 F85 330 2v was semi black... Is this the right color? What is the proper color for this year/model, and were the 2 barrel and 4 barrel air cleaners the same color. I'm going after the stock look .. . Cheers, Mike

Far as I know, black was the basic color for air cleaner bodies 2 or 4 bbl UNLESS you had the dual snorkel 442 cleaner. It's a reddish orange color.

The 64/65 guys will be able to confirm this for sure.
