Bolt on exhaust options | Dougs headers

Members,
Im about to be done with my 455 build and I want to find the best bolt on exhaust system for my headers, I have the D741-B set from Dougs headers.
Hoping there is some knowledge of a kit that I can just bolt on without needing custom work/cutting/welding/etc.

Thanks for the time

You could always use a universal exhaust pipe kit from like Summit or similar; they make a clamp-together kit too, but I'd assume there will be at least some cutting/welding/splicing to get it all to fit since it's you know, universal.
This is the route I'm taking right now in attempt to get dual exhaust on my Delmont 88 - got a Summit 2.5" piping kit to weld up
Good luck!

Take a look a pypes, great quality and they fit with very little (if any) modification.

I am installing the summit 3 inch kit on my 72 at the moment. It does take some cutting but the fit is pretty good. I had a flow master 2 1/2 inch kit on it before that fit better. A friend has the magna flow kit that fits well but it’s expensive. All 3 kits require some cutting to fit but have slip fit joints and can be clamped.

Do you have the part number you can send me , I wouldn’t mind researching to see what kind of parts I can assemble. And you also have long tube headers ?

I called Flowmaster earlier and they let me know that all of their kits for the Olds that say "Header back" means they are made for Long tube headers and that i would only need the 3 bolt flange connector, which Dougs headers includes so this took a lot of mystery out of the fitment and also opened up the door on options.

1 option:
Dougs headers:

paired to Flowmaster:

Flowmaster 3" kit has horrible bends over the rear axle. Both Pypes and magna flow kits fit much better.
