i just picked up a 72 conv cutlass and it has a bench seat but i want buckets with a floor console what would i have to do to change it over?

Heres a tip -- Buy the COMPLETE changeover from one source. you will go crazy trying to piecemeal the parts together! Or if you must --- then buy the complete console assy and shifter from the same source so you have all the small parts including wiring harness. Then you can buy the seats separately!

Also note that you will need to weld the inboard seat track brackets to the floorpan. These are available as repros from all of the usual A-body parts sources. Chevelle, GTO, etc use the same brackets as Cutlii, so shop for the lowest price.
