Assembly Manual / screw sizes

Does anybody know if there is a list of actual sizes for the screws, bolts etc that are referenced by numbers in the assembly manual.

I'll have another look at my ASM, but in 'general' what I have found is each bolt, nut & screw is identified by a Part Number in the ASM. I don't believe I've examined the ASM to determine if there is a listing of Part Numbers which detail each items dimensions.

Well, I have a CD case marked as Oldsmobile Parts Manual with Wiring Diagrams (1965 - 1975) but there is no CD in the case - which means I must have either lost it or it is misplaced. I was hoping it might provide more detail regarding nuts, bolts & screws part numbers and there actual dimensions. Sorry. Perhaps another CO member might be able to help you out.

I've had some luck cross-referencing the part numbers in the assembly manual to the AMK Products catalog. On some other fasteners I've been able to match them to a fastener in the AMK Products catalog by the picture in the catalog against what I have. I have an old catalog (about 10 years old) that I use but I do believe you can research the on-line catalog at amkproducts.com.

A GM Standard Parts Catalog has the information you need.
