Anyone know what this is? 84 lesabre 307 olds

Wondering what you guys think this is. My guess is it's got something to do with my vacuum, I can't find where it plugs into but I followed the wire into my firewall, has to control something. My guess is whoever owned this car before me tried to delete some emmision stuff? I also noticed a vacuum T unplugged from my air cleaner. Car is a 1984 buick lesabre with a Quadra jet. Doesn't seem to negatively impact anything from my knowledge, car seems to be working fine just wondering what this is. Any help would be awesome thanks guys.

I'll give it a WAG, check to see if both horns work.

Plug a test light into it and see if it is drawing any current. With the light attached, start the car, honk the horn, revv it up, turn the AC on and off...see if you can get the light to come on.

I have the 84 wiring diagram at home. I will take a look this evening and will also look at my Wife's Riviera and see if there is a similar wire.

LOW COOLANT SENSOR in side tank of radiator. Safely ground it through a test light and I think the low coolant light will illuminate dimly.

That appears to be a pretty heavy gauge wire, far heavier than would be needed for a low coolant sensor.

My guess is a horn. Put a test light on it, sound the horn and see if the test light comes on.

Ft,
The only two dark Green wires in the wiring diagram are the horns and the fast idle solenoid.

That does not look like connector for the horns on my Wife's Riviera but it has the 4 note horn and has two actual horns.

Would that wire possible stretch up to the carburetor area ?
