Pulled the carpet up on mt 72 convertible and think I found the wiring for the seat belt warning light system (one lead running to each retractor and the a funny additional harness coming off the one going to the driver's side). The wires were loose below the carpeting and not hooked up to anything. It does NOT have the "Fasten Seat Belt" light on top of the dash, but it does have those funny front seat belt retractors with the little door on the side. I wonder if they should be hooked up, but since there's no light what would it accomplish? BTW this car, although a real 72 conv. this is a Frankenstein monster of "half *** rigging".
