70 jack hook

70 jack hook

Have two hooks, the grey one says “front”. Did they have one for the front and a different for the back?

I think the stamp "front" simply indicates the direction the hook is mounted to the jack lift - implying this side is the "front" of the hook.

No they only had one hook. The gray one is the correct hook for your 70

Thanks, didn’t think they would spend the extra money on two, but “front” has me second guessing. The black one is from a 70 Cutlass Supreme.

All I have ever seen is the gray style but all were painted black to add to the confusion.
