68 442 Heater/AC hose routing/clips

Could someone please post a picture of the proper heater/ac hose routing and bracket location for a '68 442 with AC?

I get the impression that these zip ties are not "original equipment"

There is only one heater hose retainer(clamp) used on '68s with a/c. It goes on the rear hose & fastens to a bracket at the front of the evap box with a phillips head screw. I posted a couple of pics of my '68 for you. 1 is after I detailed the eng. compartment still using the stock red air cleaner, the 2nd is after I installed a complete repop OAI setup. The heater hose routing on my car is right from the assembly manual. The parts sellers,Inline,Fusick, etc all show a clamp for the front heater hose that supposedly fits '68-'72 & would bolt to the top a/c bracket,it should say '69-72. It won't work on a '68 with air,it will hit the air cleaner snorkel. The front hose just lays over the a/c bracket & uses an extra long foam hose cover(that no one makes)to protect the hose from rubbing. I found a reasonable foam insulator at Lowes. It's a softer foam(very close to factory) than the ones most plumbing places sell & it has a seam with double-face tape.I did have to eventually glue it together with super glue as the tape doesn't seem to hold up well due to the heat.

Thanks Rob, your engine compartment looks perfect. I was trying to go off the CSM, but I couldn't make out exactly where everything went.

The more I do this the more parts I find that are listed for 68-72 that don't belong in a '68. Glad I didn't spring for one of those clamp sets you mentioned, the one on my evap box is still in place. Thanks again!

Thanks for the compliments! I really lucked out on this car. It's never been in salt like our cars up here in Ohio. I paid more for it than I really wanted to but being a factory a/c 4spd car,& nicely optioned it's fairly rare. A previous owner had rebuilt the engine at some point(it has 113k on it now) & whoever did the work took great care with it. Stuff like the valve covers are mint, all the brackets, bolts, etc. are the correct factory pieces. I've since added a vintage Edelbrock O4B intake & incorrect, for an a/c car, repop OAI but I restored all the original parts & stashed them away. You're right, so many of the parts are '68 only. I put up a couple of pics showing the special '68 only pass. spark plug wire bracket & 2 wire retainer. I'm amazed that stuff like this survived,I'm like the 6th owner of this car. They don't even show it in the "engine dress" section of the assembly manual but I did find a pic of it in the engine section. It's a non a/c big car but it shows the spark plug wires & the front heater hose does use a clamp like the '69-72s but it looks to be shorter than the one being repopped.
