You can't find a two port pump for your application because the factory pump for the 1967 442 was P/N 6416836, rated at 6 psi and having three ports. That is also AC 40523. All 1967 442s, with or without A/C, came with fuel return and a three port pump. This is shown in Figure 8-2 of the Chassis Service Manual. Are you sure there isn't a fuel return line somewhere on the frame rail?
By the way, a two-port pump would be P/N 6416835, also AC 40522.

hell maybe there is. I was using rock auto as reference and it kept showing A/C 3 port/return non A/C from tank and pump to carb. I’ll check when I get home.
I'm glad this topic came up. I was advised by a friend who use tobe a NAPA dealer and he said that mechanical pumps are getting hard to find. I checked Rock Auto and all they they listed for a 66 442 was an electric pump. I checked Summit for the Carter pump M4516 which is a great pump for the 66/67 442's and they said only 9 pumps left. I have no idea what's going on if what my friend said is correct but it could be that demand has dropped low enough that they have been discontinued. Take it for what it's worth.

Yeah, sadly, after half a century the demand for parts starts to dry up. I've started to stockpile some items myself.
Thanks Mike, My 66 doesn’t need a pump but I just ordered that Carter pump so I have it..
Andy - I was also going to order a spare Carter pump M4516 for my '67 400ci, but when I did the "check fitment" function on the Summit website it said "does not fit" '67 Old's 4-4-2. Want to double check with you guys who know much more than I do before I pull the trigger.
I ordered it and yes, its now saying that doesn’t fit. Mike Richards is usually 100% spot on so I didn’t even look before ordering..I will text Mike tomorrow, he is probably sleeping right now. Hopefully it does fit
Mike, see comments on does that carter fit 66-67..need your feedback..I ordered but one member shows summit showing its not a fit..
Andy - So to add on to Summit's comments, I believe they said it fit Old's 330, 350, 425, and 455. I bet the 400 not being included was just an error of omission, but better safe than sorry!
The Carter Muscle Car Series pump #M4516 is an exact copy of the OEM 66/67 442 pump. This car has one on it.
thought you were sleeping Pops.. thanks for the reply..so The 9 psi of that pump didn’t seem to be a problem I assume for tri carb?. Hope your doing well my friend

People need to really stop relying on third party catalogs as fitment guides. When it comes to Olds motor mounts, fuel pumps, water pumps, etc, the catalogs are nearly always wrong. Start with the factory parts book listing and cross that to other brands.
