I am not sure this is the correct sub-forum for this question so mods move it if you need to. I have a 64 Olds Super 88 4 door sedan that has a cracked windshield. I also have a 63 Olds 98 6 window hardtop that I am considering parting out that has a perfect windshield in it. Does anybody know if they are interchangeable? Thanks: Marty

1963 and 64 windshields are the same for the same body style. Eighty Eights and Ninety Eights are the same from the front doors forward. What I don't know is if the Ninety Eight hardtop windshield is the same as a sedan windshield.

 

I looked this up in my Hollander interchange manual and per that manual they are not the same.

63-64 share windshields within the same body configuration.

So, for a 4 door hardtop the hollander interchange number is 2340
A 4 door sedan the hollander interchange number is 2346

2340- fits:
63-64 Buick Lesabre & Wildcat 4 door hardtop, 63-64 Cadillac 2 door hardtop, 63-64 Impala 4 door hardtop, 63 & 64 Starfire 2 door hardtop, Delta 88 4 door hardtop, 64 Jetstar, 64 J88 4 door hardtop, 63-64 Gran Prix 2 door hardtop, and 63-64 Pontiac 4 door hardtop

2346 Fits:
63 Buick LeSabre 2 door Sedan, 63-64 Buick Station wagon, 63-64 Buick Electra 4 door Sedan, 63-64 Buick LeSabre & Wildcat 4 door Sedan, 63 & 64 Cadillac Fleetwood- series 60 & 62 and sedan deville sedans, 63-64 Chevy 2 & 4 door sedans, 63-64 Chevy 2 & 4 door station wagon, 63-64 Olds 4 door sedan, 63-64 Pontiac 2 & 4 door sedans & station wagons.

This is all per Hollander Interchange
